Aura Home privacy notice
Last updated November 1, 2026
Aura Home is a private household app run by Whidbey Ventures for one household. Only people an administrator has added can sign in. It is not offered to the public.
What we keep
- Your name and Google account email, so we know who you are and what you may see.
- What you add to the app: projects, tasks, lists, notes and who did what.
- For the one household calendar account: which calendars to show and an encrypted access token. Calendar events stay in Google Calendar. We read and change them live and do not copy them into our database.
How Google data is used
Google sign-in is used only to confirm who you are. Google Calendar access is used only to show the household calendar and to add, rename or remove events you ask for in the app. Google user data is never sold, never used for advertising and never shared with anyone outside the household, except the service providers that host the app (Vercel and Neon) to run it. Use of Google data follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
Removing access and data
An administrator can remove a person or disconnect the calendar at any time, which deletes the stored calendar token. You can also revoke access from your Google account settings. To have your data deleted, email pieter@whidbeyventures.com.
